Stress

Sometimes the stresses of everyday life just get to be to much. Things you may have been able to handle at one time become harder and harder to manage.  Work, kids, family, relationships. Where do you get the time? Where do you get the money? Where do you get the energy?

When things get bad enough, many people fall off balance. Just to cope, they do things which make their situations worse. Family fights, isolation, increased drinking, missing work. These are just to name a few.

Over time, these can result in a downward spiral and leave you in a place that's hard to get out of.

Stress can lead to mental illness, lead you to believe you are developing a mental illness, trigger the symptoms of a mental illness which has otherwise been stabilized, or make an active mental illness worse.

Take heart. There is good news.
